Turris vs Catania is not a simple match because it evokes so many memories for the “rossazzurri” fanbase.
In fact on June 1975, Catania triumphed against Turris (0-3) at Torre del Greco, and gained an important promotion to Serie B (Italian Second Division).
It was a tournament characterized by an exciting battle between Catania and Bari. At the end of the season, Catania will hold the first place beating definitively the other rivals ending the games.
