This one will be a crucial week for Calcio Catania’s future and in particular today, 17th of May, since there will be the meeting of the Federal Council of FIGC. Among the various topics that will be discussed, there is the main one concerning national licenences with the sporting and organizational criteria for the subscription to the respective tournaments for the next season.
In the past few days, a rumor of a possible increase in quotas to be paid, in order to sign up to the next championship, was leaked, if this rumor will be confirmed, the participation in the upcoming season would become an almost impossible task for Catania but also for many teams from first Italian division to the third one.
In short, this week represents a fundamental step in order to understand what type of future is reserved to our team. This will be the umpteenth hot summer for Catania fanbase, everything depends on dates, deadlines, courts… It looks like a déjà vu.
