First win, first three points and first clean sheet of the new season for Calcio Catania that overcame Fidelis Andria 2-0 during the game played at “Angelo Massimino Stadium” on Saturday.
It was a very nice game for our team, a great performance that higlighted the potential of some players, a good example of this could be the young croatian player Leon Šipoš, he is only 21 and we can consider him a modern and complete forward, a good finisher, able to figure out in advance where the ball is going to end up and to feel the goal.
Other certainty is represented by the new purchase Tommaso Ceccarelli, the former winger of Feralpi Salò is a force of nature with an astonishing change of pace and direction, able to charge forward with the ball, he was a delight to behold for the supporters and a handful for any opposition.
What is interesting and important is the hard work that Catania players have done to overcome their rivals, a lot of compactness, a lot of attention and a lot of commitment in the creation of different dangerous actions.
It was only the first win, let’s hope to see many more of them.
