The enthusiasm of Ross Pelligra is evident, and according to him and his declarations, it is possible to feel his pride about what he is doing in Catania as a president and owner. A new interview has been released to the local broadcast Telecolor, in which Mr Ross Pelligra has talked about his future projects for Catania.
“I think about what we have done here during last six months and I am satisfied; a lot of people said to me that this adventure would have been very hard, especially bringing the team to the high places of the table: at this moment we are first and we are 12 points away from the second one! In the last days I met Sergio Parisi in order to know something about possible projects of Catania’s municipality and I hope that, if I do this investment, Catania’s municipality will do the same. We have to work hard in order to grow up to the best Italian leagues, consequently we need football pitches, and in our investment this is included, allowing the local families to come there in the easiest possible way. Angelo Massimino’s stadium is little, we are thinking to invest to increase its capacity, about 40-50.000 spectators. Surely, building a new stadium has a minor cost, but we will decide to invest for the “home” of Catania’s supporters and to respect them. The most important thing is that supporters and I respect and honour the history and the “jersey” of the team”.
