Those are hectic days for Mr Ross Pelligra since he is in Catania to support the team, as well as living the city in first person. Yesterday there was an important appointment with local authorities in which Mr Pelligra has explained most of his plans for the club and for the city.
“Sicily and Catania need great projects to do, not only me but also for the other businessmen who could come here to do their investments. This city (Catania) has a powerful name, this city has local people who try to work hard every day in order to improve themselves. This city needs more, and I can’t do this alone; it is important that all the businessmen (local or not) unite together to make this city and this people better.
When I came here for the first time in June, I saw the enthusiasm of thousands of supporters, and nowadays I can say that they are proud of what we are doing for the team. I’m really happy, I didn’t expect this path, we are winning and the team is so strong as well as the staff. Since we’ve been here, we have tried to do our best, and we will continue to do. The most beautiful thing is the heart of the people, there is so much love for Catania and it is something I’ve never seen anywhere.
Nesima? They gave us the structure for ten years, now the structure needs many football fields. I like the neighbourhood where we will train because it is close to the city. I dream that many children can play football and have fun”.
