We are talking about a bad false start on saturday, we have seen a drab team, with lack of identity and emotions.
That match represents and reflects the current situation in terms of society, difficulties, lack of money, lack of planning, in short, it represents the negative situation that revolves around the team.
As we know, Calcio Catania is living one of the darkest moments of its history, always risking bankruptcy and the defeat (3-0) against Monopoli is a clear witness. We have not seen our club, we have only seen a group of players unknown to each other trying to play a football match, a group of young players without any experience in third italian division since many of them come from the youth academies of other teams.
The situation is serious, difficulties are many and unfortunately they continue to increase, they never lacked, they will never lack and the engagements that must be taken in order to try to resolve them are too many. It will be a long season, our tournament starts now but Catania and its fanbase do not deserve this, because our shirt and our colours must not be humiliated by others!
