Next few days will be crucial for the destiny of Calcio Catania, because the ownership has to fulfil to the payment of players’ salaries, in order to avoid the departure of many of them but also to avoid the possible exclusion from the tournament.
Meanwhile, the members of SIGI have ten days to pay salaries so as not to risk losing part of the players. The risk, however, remains that: some members could leave Catania as soon as the penalties are made official: -2 for unpaid salaries in June and -4 for the dues of August and September.
It is a real countdown to guarantee the future of this important and historical club, the ownership cannot afford not to comply with further dues. It is a duty that must be fulfil, mainly for the respect of an entire fanbase and for 75 years of history.
