Catania’s transformation in the last few weeks has not been spectacular. In particular we talk about some mistakes made by our defence, this one seems to have lost the initial grit and determination probably for some choices related to transfermarket, in fact the initial defensive line was made up of Silvestri (the captain of the team), Claiton and Tonucci.
After transfermarket, due to the arrival of Giosa and Sales (two of the Mr Raffaele’s favourite players) the defensive line has been completely changed. Has this choice been well rewarded?
As things stand today, the answer is negative for sure, since it is possible to analyse that in some matches, a defensive decline has been verified.
Also, the midfield line is often inattentive; being in the centre of the pitch is a very big deal and in general it is essential to keep possession of the ball and pass with accuracy, to defend as well as to attack, to control and to dictate the tempo of the game, but recently our midfielders are not able to realize clinical finishes to our strickers… this is something that must be reviewed, and I am sure that Mr Raffaele can fix it because he has the ability to bring back enthusiasm to our team.
