Yesterday was an important day for Catania and for its fanbase, since there was the deadline for the submission of proposals for the expression of interest, in order to represent the sports title of the city in the FIGC championships. The Municipality has informed the press about five documents received through certified e-mail:
1) Luigi Ferlito on behalf of Fabio Maestri
2) Gioacchino Amato on behalf of Mmr Cinema
3) Dante Scibilia on behalf of Pelligra Group Pty Ltd
4) Luca Giovannone on behalf of Osmosi Spa
5) Antonello Mascali on behalf of entrepreneurs from Catania, England, Korea and Spain.
Among the five expressions of interest received by the Municipality, there is one that has literally increased the enthusiasm of the supporters; we are talking about the proposal of Pelligra Group Pty Ltd whose interests are taken care of by the advisor Dante Scibilia. Through an official statement, the Australian group has shown to the city their projects, between them there is the main goal to grow the club up to the best italian leagues, and to buy the headquarter of Torre del Grifo.
It is a real plebiscite on social media, in fact all of Catania’s supporters are writing messages, in which they communicate their preference, followed by the Australian flag. A significant gesture to show to competent authorities to be able to take advantage of this great opportunity both for the city and for the team.
