The success of Catania with Pelligra as owner and his staff has reached the Australian land so much so that the celebration about the first place reached by Catania was broadcasted by the Australian TV channel Paramount + 10 News First. For this purpose, Mr Vincent Grella, who is the ceo of the Sicilian club, was interviewed by the journalist Michael Zappone:
“It was a good challenge to have, we were very successful in re-engaging with the community in getting all of the people from Catania on board. There was a very clean plan and strong management and the results have been seen on the football field. Well, I think that in the history of this club, and traditionally in Italy, to have a chairman that is so open to the people and so available and shows the respect that he wants back in exchange, has been a big success here. It was not easy what Ross has done, he had a lot of courage and the people see this courage as something to be apart of and this I is a really positive feeling in the city”.
