The Australian broadcasting Keepup, has dedicated a peculiar interview to the special trio of Catania: Ross Pelligra, the owner and the president of the club, Vincenzo Grella, managing director and vice/president, and Mark Bresciano whose role is still to be defined.
Pelligra has manifested his enthusiasm, talking about his first season in Catania, ended with a huge first place, going up to the third Italian division:
“It’s a party, everywhere I move turn, there is people really celebrating the win. It has been success from day one, the guys have been by my side the whole day, there has been a lot of challenges but finally got there with the championship and it is really exciting. I want to be able to turn the club around , do a lot more things, build the community up and around the club and then make sure the youth programs are there as well. So the next up and coming Socceroo from Australia, we can create them out of our own club. I am to just interested in a club that I can’t put any benefit in, I see it as an inter/generational project. Football in Australia has got a long way to grow, we should be strong in football, give hope to our own kids back in Australia that you work hard, you train hard enough. It is something that it is got a lot of growth and I am really excited about it”.
